This counter records the number of local force-switch events processed on Port 1 as an unsigned 32-bit integer. Engineers use this to see how many times they or the local system have manually forced traffic to the protection ring. A value of 12 indicates the link was force-switched 12 times, either by admin command or automatic failover logic.
