What is acdAlarmGenSNMPEnable?

This OID controls whether alarm traps are sent via SNMP protocol to your network monitoring system. You'd enable this to get real-time alerts in your SNMP-based monitoring platform (like Nagios or Zabbix) when critical alarms occur. Setting this to true causes the device to send SNMP trap messages whenever an alarm triggers, alerting your monitoring console immediately.
