accXnsRtNxtNet

Module: ACC-XNS

OID (symbolic): ACC-XNS::accXnsRtNxtNet

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: The next network along the way to the destination network.

What is accXnsRtNxtNet?

This read-only object shows the next XNS network address that packets must traverse to reach the destination network. Network engineers use it to trace the multi-hop path and understand network topology by following each hop's next network. For example, if the destination is 48-00-00-05 but the next network is 48-00-00-01, packets must first hop to 48-00-00-01.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.3.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-XNS::accXnsRtNxtNet

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.3.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-XNS::accXnsRtNxtNet.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accXnsRtNxtNet.1
