Description: The number of packets received on this port which were discarded because they were too long.

What is accXnsPortTooLongs?

This counter records packets discarded because they exceeded the maximum allowed XNS packet size. Engineers use this to identify oversized frames from misconfigured devices or to verify maximum transmission unit (MTU) settings are correct. For example, if legitimate traffic is being dropped here, the MTU setting on the source device may be too high.
