The number of packets received on this port which could not be forwarded, either because there were transmitted via a MAC-layer broadcast, or because their source or destination network number were unknown.

What is accXnsPortFwdErrs?

This counter counts packets that arrived on this port but could not be forwarded, usually because the destination or source network address was unknown or the packet was a MAC-layer broadcast. Engineers monitor this to spot configuration problems or routing table gaps that prevent traffic from reaching its destination. If this number grows while accXnsPortFwdReqOuts stays flat, it signals a potential network discovery or routing issue.
