accXnsNetSrMode

Module: ACC-XNS

OID (symbolic): ACC-XNS::accXnsNetSrMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.2.1.22

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The source-routing mode for token-ring networks.

What is accXnsNetSrMode?

This object controls whether source-routing is enabled or disabled for token-ring networks attached to this port. Network engineers enable it when the network topology requires explicit route specification by the sender; on modern networks, it is usually disabled for simplicity. For example, setting it to 1 enables source-routing so hosts can specify exact paths through the token ring.
