accXnsMode
Module: ACC-XNS
OID (symbolic): ACC-XNS::accXnsMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: RIP protocol type to use
What is accXnsMode?
This object selects which RIP protocol variant to use for XNS routing, such as RIPv1 or RIPv2, affecting how the router exchanges routing information. Network engineers choose the RIP version based on the legacy equipment in their network and interoperability requirements. Setting it to 2 might select RIPv2 which offers better features than the older RIPv1.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-XNS::accXnsMode
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-XNS::accXnsMode.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5.1 i <value>
