Description: The method used to set default PPP parameters. FACTORY indicates that factory defaults will be used or default parameters will be obtained from the usual sources (e.g., preconfigured dial ports). OVERRIDE indicates that default parameters should be overriden using values configured in this service profile. This object has been obsoleted with release 11.1.
What is accServiceProfilePppDefault?
This OID controls whether PPP uses factory defaults or engineer-configured parameter overrides for each connection. Setting it to FACTORY uses built-in defaults or preconfigured dial-port settings, while OVERRIDE applies custom parameters defined in this service profile. An engineer chooses OVERRIDE when fine-tuning PPP behavior for a specific customer or service tier.
