accL2tpKeepAlive

Module: ACC-L2TP

OID (symbolic): ACC-L2TP::accL2tpKeepAlive

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.71.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Default Hello control message interval

What is accL2tpKeepAlive?

This OID controls the interval in seconds (0 to 3600) for sending keep-alive hello messages to verify the tunnel is still active. Configure a shorter interval to detect dead peers quickly, but longer intervals reduce idle traffic on the network. For example, a value of 60 sends a keep-alive message every 60 seconds.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.71.1.1.8
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-L2TP::accL2tpKeepAlive

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.71.1.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-L2TP::accL2tpKeepAlive.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.71.1.1.8.1 i <value>
