Description:
The number of packets received on the D-channel of this ISDN interface.
What is accIsdnxStatHdlcInPackets?
This OID counts the total number of HDLC packets received on the D channel (the signaling channel that controls calls). Network engineers monitor this counter to detect if the D channel is being saturated with signaling messages or losing packets. For example, a value of 45000 means 45,000 signaling packets have been received; a steadily increasing value is normal, but sudden drops indicate D channel problems.
