Module: AC-SYSTEM-MIB
OID (symbolic): AC-SYSTEM-MIB::acSysTDMClockPLLOutOfRange
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.10.1.2.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Determines the valid PPM range outside the Stratum 3 standard. This parameter is only relevant for the TP8410 on the Mediant 3000. This parameter is enabled when bspTimingModuleCfgTimingMode is set to TM_External_MODE(1).
One of the following possible values: OOR_9_2to12ppm(0),OOR_40to52ppm(1),OOR_100to130ppm(2),OOR_64to83ppm(3),OOR_13_8to18ppm(4),OOR_24_6to32ppm(5),OOR_36_6to47_5ppm(6),OOR_52to67_5ppm(7). Access: Online. AC INI-Param: PLLOutOfRange
What is acSysTDMClockPLLOutOfRange?
This OID defines how much timing drift (measured in PPM, or parts per million) the board's clock is allowed to deviate from the Stratum 3 standard before triggering an alarm. Timing engineers use this to tolerate slightly loose clocks on older systems or when synchronizing across geographically distant networks where perfect timing is unrealistic. For example, setting this to OOR_40to52ppm(1) allows the clock to drift up to 52 parts per million without raising an alert.
