What is acSysSerialIFStop?

This OID specifies how many stop bits (1 or 2) terminate each character frame on the SMDI serial line. More stop bits provide extra framing time but reduce throughput, and you must match your external device's setting. For example, older or slower devices often need 2 stop bits (value 2), while modern equipment usually works fine with just 1 stop bit (value 1).
