Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Description: Requires client certificates for HTTPS connection. The client certificate must be preloaded on the gateway, and its matching private key must be installed on the managing computer. Time and date must be correctly set on the gateway, for the client certificate to be verified. Access: Offline. AC INI-Param: HTTPSRequireClientCertificate

What is acSysSecurityHTTPSRequireClientCertificate?

This OID enforces mutual TLS authentication, requiring clients connecting via HTTPS to present a valid certificate that matches a pre-installed one on the gateway. This is used in zero-trust security models where even clients must prove their identity before connecting. Enabling this means a client without the correct certificate installed will be denied access, even if they have valid credentials.
