acSysPCMIdleABCDPattern

Module: AC-SYSTEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): AC-SYSTEM-MIB::acSysPCMIdleABCDPattern

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.10.1.2.3.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: Defines the ABCD (CAS) pattern to be applied on the signaling bus before it is changed by the user or the PSTN protocol. This is only relevant when using PSTN interface with CAS protocols. Range = 0x0 to 0xF. Access: Offline. AC INI-Param: IDLEABCDPATTERN

What is acSysPCMIdleABCDPattern?

This OID sets the ABCD signaling bits (used in CAS—Channel Associated Signaling) that the board transmits when the channel is idle and before protocol signaling takes over. Telecom engineers configure this mainly when using older PSTN protocols that rely on in-band signaling bits. For example, setting this to 0x0 means all signaling bits are 0 in the idle state, which some switching systems interpret as 'channel available for call setup.'

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.10.1.2.3.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> AC-SYSTEM-MIB::acSysPCMIdleABCDPattern

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.10.1.2.3.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> AC-SYSTEM-MIB::acSysPCMIdleABCDPattern.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.10.1.2.3.3.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> acSysPCMIdleABCDPattern.1
