What is acSysInterfaceGateway?

This OID stores the default gateway IP address (as a text string up to 45 characters long) for the device's network interface, with only one row containing an actual gateway and others set to zero. A network engineer would configure this when setting up network connectivity to specify which router should handle traffic to external networks. For example, setting this to 192.168.1.1 means all outbound traffic without a specific route will be sent to that gateway address.
