acSysEthernetPortPhyConfiguration

Module: AC-SYSTEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): AC-SYSTEM-MIB::acSysEthernetPortPhyConfiguration

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.10.1.3.12.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Controls the Ethernet connection mode type. Auto-negotiate falls back to Half-Duplex mode (HD) when the opposite port is not in Auto-negotiate mode. The speed (10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX) in this mode is always configured correctly.

0 = 10 Base-T half-duplex 1 = 10 Base-T full-duplex 2 = 100 Base-TX half-duplex 3 = 100 Base-TX full-duplex 4 = Auto-negotiate. Access: Offline. AC INI-Param: EthernetPhyConfiguration

What is acSysEthernetPortPhyConfiguration?

This OID configures the Ethernet physical layer mode: 0–3 for fixed speed/duplex (10 or 100 Mbps, half or full), or 4 for auto-negotiation. A network engineer sets this to match the uplink switch configuration to avoid speed and duplex mismatches that cause packet loss. For example, setting it to 3 locks the port to 100 Mbps full-duplex, which is typical for modern network infrastructure.
