What is acSys802dot1xVerifyPeerCertificate?
AC-SYSTEM-MIB::acSys802dot1xVerifyPeerCertificate is an integer flag that controls whether the device validates the authentication server's certificate during 802.1x EAP-TLS handshake. Network engineers configure this to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks where an attacker impersonates the legitimate authentication server. A value of "1" (enabled) forces the device to verify that the server's certificate is valid and signed by a trusted Certificate Authority.
