1 module from Working Group

This canonical bucket groups a handful of small, cross-vendor management-protocol MIBs found bundled with various switch firmware rather than modules from one company: SNMP community-based access control (AAC-MIB), and switch-side SSH and SSL/TLS server configuration (SSH-MIB, SSL-MIB) built on a shared FastPath-family base used by multiple switch vendors. Recurring subject matter is remote-management-plane security — which ciphers and authentication methods a switch's SSH/SSL management service accepts, session limits and timeouts, and which SNMP communities may read or write MIB objects. Come to this page if you're hardening a managed switch's out-of-band management access and need to check or set its SSH cipher suite (swSSHEncryptAlgAES256Admin) or HTTPS certificate configuration (swSSLCertificateFile) rather than looking for a specific vendor's product features. Because these MIBs are shared across multiple switch OEMs built on the same underlying firmware base, expect to find the same swSSH*/swSSL* object names reused verbatim on hardware sold under several different brand names.

ModuleDescription
AAC-MIBManages SNMP agent access control on network devices, defining community-based access lists and operation restrictions for MIB object access.
