Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Bits
Access: read-only
Description: The management capabilities of layer-2 control protocol filter. The bit value 1 means the function represented by this bit is supported by this equipment. bit 0: value 1 means supporting zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVlanList, and not supporting zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVid and zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVlanMask in zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfTable.
NOTE: No recommended to display it in NMS.
What is zxAnSecL2cpFiltCapabilities?
This read-only BITS object reports the management capabilities of the layer-2 control protocol filter, where a set bit indicates the corresponding function is supported; bit 0 set means the device supports zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVlanList but not zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVid/zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVlanMask in the VLAN config table, and the MIB notes it is not recommended for direct display in an NMS. An admin (or more likely NMS software) checks this to determine which VLAN-matching style, vlan-list based versus vid/mask based, the device firmware actually supports before attempting to configure filter entries. For example, if bit 0 is set, management software would configure zxAnSecL2cpFiltVlanConfVlanList instead of trying to set VID/mask fields on that device.
