zxAnLoopbackDetectIfStatus
Module: ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB
OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectIfStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.2.3.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Indicate the interface status when the interface is loopbackd: loopbacked(1) means the interface is loopbacked, interfaceShutdown(2) means the interface is loopbacked, and shutdown the upstream flow, loopbackCleared(3) means the loopback is recoverd. suspectedLoopback(4) means there is no loopback in fact because of STP and VLAN configuration, but the loopback packet has reached the device. It is only defined for C600 series.
What is zxAnLoopbackDetectIfStatus?
This object reports the current loopback state of the interface: loopbacked(1) means a loop is currently detected, interfaceShutdown(2) means the port was also shut down in response, loopbackCleared(3) means a previous loop has recovered, and suspectedLoopback(4), C600-only, flags a false positive caused by STP/VLAN configuration rather than an actual loop. Administrators use this status to triage port alarms and decide whether physical intervention is needed. Seeing interfaceShutdown(2) tells an admin the switch already disabled the port's upstream traffic due to a confirmed loop and it needs to be manually cleared and re-enabled.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.2.3.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectIfStatus
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.2.3.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectIfStatus.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> zxAnLoopbackDetectIfStatus.1
