zxAnLoopbackDetectIfEnable
Module: ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB
OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectIfEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.2.2.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Indicate the interface switch of loopback detection function. enabled(1) means the interface switch is on, disabled(2) means the interface switch is off. For non-C600 series, the default value is disabled. For C600 series, it is just used as alarm switch and the default value is enabled.
What is zxAnLoopbackDetectIfEnable?
This per-interface object turns loopback detection on or off for a specific physical port, with enabled(1) turning it on; on C600 series it only controls whether alarms are raised (defaulting to enabled), while on non-C600 series it defaults to disabled. Administrators enable this per-port to monitor specific access or uplink ports for loops without enabling detection device-wide via a single blanket setting. Setting it to disabled(2) on a port that's known to be part of an intentional loop, such as a lab test rig, suppresses false loopback alarms there.
