zxAnLoopbackDetectIfActiveEnable

Module: ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectIfActiveEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.2.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indicate the interface switch of the active loopback detection function. enabled(1) means the switch is on, disabled(2) means the switch is off. For C600 series, the default value is enabled. For non-C600 series, the default value is disabled.

What is zxAnLoopbackDetectIfActiveEnable?

This per-interface object turns active loopback detection on or off for a specific port, defaulting to enabled on C600 series and disabled on other platforms. Administrators use it to selectively enable active probing on ports where passive detection alone isn't catching loops quickly enough. Enabling it on an access port used by end-user devices lets the switch proactively probe that port for accidental cable loops.
