Description: The global switch of loopback detection function. enabled(1) means the global switch is on, disabled(2) means the global switch is off.

What is zxAnLoopbackDetectGlobalEnable?

This object is the master on/off switch for the device's Ethernet loopback detection feature, with enabled(1) turning detection on across the system and disabled(2), the default, turning it off. Administrators enable this to have the switch automatically detect when a cable or misconfigured device has created a network loop. Leaving it at its default of disabled(2) means no loopback detection runs anywhere on the device until explicitly turned on.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectGlobalEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZTE-AN-LOOPBACKDETECT-MIB::zxAnLoopbackDetectGlobalEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.80.20.1.1.1 i <value>
