Description: DHCPv6 layer-2 relay agent interface trust policy. To set this variable, a manager must comply with the following rules: - when trust flag is true, policy can be set to keep or replace. - when trust flag is false, policy can be set to discard or add. In addition, a manager must comply with the multi-variables usage rules in ZxAnDhcpV6L2RAIfConfEntry description.
What is zxAnDhcpV6L2RAIfConfPolicy?
This read-write value sets the DHCPv6 relay agent's interface option-handling policy to keep, replace, discard, or add, constrained so that keep/replace are only valid when the interface is trusted and discard/add only when it isn't, defaulting to add. It controls how the relay agent handles existing DHCPv6 relay information already present on inbound packets for that interface. An admin on an untrusted subscriber-facing interface would leave this at the default add(4) so the relay agent inserts fresh relay information and discards any untrusted values that arrived with the packet.
