Description: Packet rate threshold based on global interface. If the packet average rate of the interface exceeds this value, the interface will be temporarily blacklisted and an zxAnDosAttackAlarm notification will be generated.
What is zxAnAntiDosGlbIfConfRateThresh?
This object sets, for a given global interface type and protocol, the packet rate threshold above which an interface is temporarily blacklisted and a zxAnDosAttackAlarm notification is raised. Admins tune it to control how sensitive DoS detection is for that interface type and protocol combination. For example, lowering this from the default of 128 packets per second would make the device blacklist interfaces more aggressively at lower traffic rates.
