Description: This field describes the enable status of the Status Trap Alarm. If this field is true (1) then the Status Trap alarm is enabled. If this field is false (2) then the Status Trap Alarm is disabled.
What is alarmConfigStatusTrap?
This true/false value enables or disables the Status Trap alarm for an interface: true(1) enables it, false(2) disables it. An admin turns this on to have the device send a trap whenever this interface's status changes. For example, enabling this on a critical uplink interface ensures the admin gets notified immediately if that link's status changes.
