Description: This field indicates the Bit Rate Threshold Holdtime in seconds for which the Bit Rate of the ifIndex must remain below the Bit Rate Threshold Value before an alarm will be generated if the Bit Rate Threshold Alarm is enabled.

What is alarmConfigBitRateThresholdHoldtime?

This value sets, in seconds, how long the interface's bit rate must remain below the configured threshold before the Bit Rate Threshold alarm actually fires, provided that alarm is enabled. An admin tunes it to avoid alarms from brief, transient dips in throughput. For example, setting this to 30 would require the low bit rate to persist for half a minute before triggering an alarm, filtering out momentary blips.
