Description: This field describes the enable status of the Bit Rate Threshold Alarm. If this field is true (1) then the Bit Rate Threshold alarm is enabled. If this field is false (2) then the Bit Rate Threshold Alarm is disabled.

What is alarmConfigBitRateThreshold?

This true/false value enables or disables the Bit Rate Threshold alarm for an interface: true(1) enables it, false(2) disables it. An admin turns this on to have the device alert when an interface's throughput drops below a configured minimum. For example, enabling this on a WAN interface would let the device flag a sudden drop in link throughput, which might indicate a degraded circuit.
