Module: ZHONE-COM-IP-RIPv2-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZHONE-COM-IP-RIPv2-MIB::zhRip2IfConfStaticRouteAdvertisement

Description: This variable specifies whether to advertise static routes. When set to 'none', no static routes are advertised. For 'low', only low preference static routes are advertised, and when set to 'high' only high preference static routes are advertised. 'both' specifies to advertise both low and high preference static routes. Low preference routes are default routes. The default value is 'none'.

What is zhRip2IfConfStaticRouteAdvertisement?

This read-write INTEGER (none(1)/low(2)/high(3)/both(4)), defaulting to none, specifies, per its source description, whether static routes are advertised via RIP on this interface, where low-preference static routes are default routes and high-preference are more specific static routes. Admins enable this on an interface that should redistribute manually configured static routes into RIP, choosing whether to include just default routes, just specific static routes, or both. For example, setting this to high(3) would advertise specific static routes but not any static default route out this interface via RIP.
