zhRip2IfConfSrcAddress
Module: ZHONE-COM-IP-RIPv2-MIB
OID (symbolic): ZHONE-COM-IP-RIPv2-MIB::zhRip2IfConfSrcAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5504.4.1.2.3.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-write
Description: The IP Address this system will use as a source address on this interface. If it is a numbered interface, this MUST be the same value as ipIfAddr (from ZHONE-IP-REC-MIB). On unnumbered interfaces, it must be the value of ipIfAddr for some interface on the system.
What is zhRip2IfConfSrcAddress?
This read-write IpAddress specifies, per its source description, the source address this system uses for RIP traffic on this interface, which for a numbered interface must match the interface's own IP address, or for an unnumbered interface must match some other interface's address on the system. Admins on an unnumbered interface (e.g., certain WAN links) must explicitly configure this to a valid address elsewhere on the router, since the interface itself has no IP of its own to use. For example, an unnumbered WAN interface would have this set to the router's loopback or LAN interface address so RIP updates sent out that link carry a consistent, reachable source address.

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5504.4.1.2.3.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZHONE-COM-IP-RIPv2-MIB::zhRip2IfConfSrcAddress.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5504.4.1.2.3.1.7.1 a <value>
