The numbers from 1 to totalPorts represent the asynchronous ports, from totalPorts+1 to totalPorts+totalSyncPorts represent the synchronous ports, and from totalPorts+totalSyncPorts to totalPorts+totalSyncPorts+128 represent the virtual ports.
