linkxPort

Module: XYLAN-WSM-MIB

OID (symbolic): XYLAN-WSM-MIB::linkxPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.800.2.7.2.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The port that is Link is on or zero if the link is not tied to a given port (e.g. for ISDN incoming calls or Multilink PPP that requires to run Multilink with combined serial ports and ISDN calls on the same slot, but not necessarily fixed to a given ISDN port on that slot).

If type is wsmPort(1), this must be a non-zero value.

What is linkxPort?

This value, from 0 to 8, identifies the port a link is tied to, or zero if not tied to a specific port (such as an ISDN incoming call or a Multilink PPP bundle combining serial ports and ISDN calls on the same slot without a fixed port); this must be non-zero when linkxType is wsmPort. Admins use it to trace which physical port on the identified slot a given serial link's hardware resides in. Combined with linkxSlot, a nonzero linkxPort pinpoints the exact physical WAN port backing a wsmPort-type link.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.800.2.7.2.1.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> XYLAN-WSM-MIB::linkxPort

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.800.2.7.2.1.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> XYLAN-WSM-MIB::linkxPort.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.800.2.7.2.1.1.7.1 i <value>
