linkxAdminStatus
Module: XYLAN-WSM-MIB
OID (symbolic): XYLAN-WSM-MIB::linkxAdminStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.800.2.7.2.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object controls the Administrative Status of this WAN Link Entity. Enabled will allow the Link Entity to operate. Disabled will disable the Link Entity without deleting it. Delete will disable the Link entity and delete the PPP configuration record.
What is linkxAdminStatus?
This setting controls the administrative status of a WAN link entity: enabled lets it operate, disabled turns it off without removing its configuration, and delete disables it and removes the associated PPP configuration record entirely. Admins use disabled to temporarily take a link out of service and delete to permanently remove an unneeded link's PPP config. Setting linkxAdminStatus to disabled(2) takes a WAN link offline for maintenance while preserving its PPP settings for later reactivation.
