Description: The administrative mode of this FDDI port. The user can set this port to either station(2) of concentrator(3) mode. NOTE: this does not take effect until the SMT subsystem is restarted. Examine the phyPortFddiOpMode to see the current operational mode. The administrative mode will be invalid(1) for all but FDDI or CDDI boards.
What is phyPortFddiAdmMode?
Sets the administrative FDDI mode for this port to station(2) or concentrator(3); it reads as invalid(1) for any board that isn't FDDI or CDDI. Note that a change here doesn't take effect until the SMT subsystem is restarted, so admins should check phyPortFddiOpMode afterward to confirm the new mode actually took hold.
