Description: This object indicates the presence FEAC being received by this port. This object only applies to DS3 interface with framing format configured to C-bit parity. A value of dsx3NoFEAC(1) is returned for other cases.
What is dsx3PortConfigFEAC?
This value reports which Far End Alarm and Control code is currently being received on the port, such as dsx3DS3LOS or dsx3DS3AISreceived, and only applies to a DS3 port with C-bit parity framing; other ports report dsx3NoFEAC(1). An admin reads this to see what fault condition the far-end DS3 equipment is signaling back over the C-bit FEAC channel.
