What is xipMRouteInterfaceAdminStatus?
This object acts as the on/off switch for multicast routing on a virtual interface: creating and enabling the row turns multicast on for that interface, while destroying it or setting it to notInService turns multicast off. An admin toggles this to bring a virtual interface into or out of multicast routing service without necessarily deleting its other configured parameters. For example, setting xipMRouteInterfaceAdminStatus to disabled(2) would stop multicast routing on that interface while leaving its protocol and address settings in place.
