xcmRsrcGeneralFontTypeAccept

Module: XEROX-COMMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): XEROX-COMMON-MIB::xcmRsrcGeneralFontTypeAccept

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.253.8.57.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: Indicates all of the font types which are accepted for dynamic delivery to and use by this host system, specified in a bit-array. Usage: This bit-array is constructed from the set of supported values from 'XcmFontType', used as powers of 2 with big-endian rules - the high-order bit of the first octet corresponds to a font type of '0' (reserved) - the low-order bit of the first octet corresponds to a font type of '7'. Similar to the BITS pseudotype defined in IETF SMIv2 (RFC 2578), which has the same bit ordering rules but requires definitions for contiguous enumerated bits.

What is xcmRsrcGeneralFontTypeAccept?

This OID holds a bit-array (a set of on/off flags) that describes which font formats a device can accept and use when fonts are delivered remotely. The flags indicate compatibility with different font types the system can dynamically load. A network manager would check this to know which font formats they can send to the device.
