Description: The value of 'xcmGenOptionIndex' corresponding to a next 'family' conceptual row in the 'xcmGenOptionTable', or zero if this conceptual row has no associated 'family' members. Usage: Generally, reconfiguration options (of similar or unlike type) are 'chained' vertically via '...[Next|Previous]Index'. But, in the case where particular reconfiguration options MUST be 'tightly coupled', they SHOULD be 'shelved' horizontally via '...FamilyIndex' (eg, an IP address and an IP subnet mask).
What is xcmGenOptionFamilyIndex?
This object provides a pointer to the next family-related configuration option in a chain of similar or coupled reconfiguration options. It is used in device management to organize configuration parameters that have interdependencies or must be modified together. A value of zero indicates there are no additional family members in the chain.
