This object SHALL be 'false' if this management agent does NOT support SNMP traps (in any SNMP domain and SNMP version) and does NOT support the 'xcmGenTrapClientTable'.
What is xcmGenBaseSNMPTrapSupport?
This OID reports whether the device can send SNMP trap notifications (alerts) to management systems. It shows a capability of the device. Network operators check this during initial setup to confirm the device can notify them of problems.
