Description:
The terse conformance statement of ALL mandatory, conditionally mandatory, and optional XCMI General MIB object groups which are supported for existing row update (via SNMP Set-Request PDUs) by this management agent implementation (ie, version) on this host system, specified in a bit-mask. Usage: Conforming management agents SHALL accurately report their support for the XCMI General MIB object groups.
What is xcmGenBaseGroupUpdateSupport?
This object reports which XCMI (Xerox Common Management Interface) MIB object groups can be modified via SNMP Set-Request operations by the management agent running on a Xerox device. It uses a bit mask to indicate support for mandatory, conditionally mandatory, and optional group updates. System administrators and management software use this to determine what configuration changes can be remotely applied to the device.
