Description: The textual string ID used to determine a specific set of special customer security functions, when appropriate. Only OS builds containing customized security functions will take advantage of this object.

What is xsecurityFunctionID?

This object holds a textual string ID used to select a specific set of customized customer security functions, applicable only on OS builds that include such custom security functionality. Administrators on standard builds would leave this at its default empty string, since it has no effect unless the running OS build was specifically customized to use it. For example, a customer with a vendor-built custom security integration would set this string to the specific function ID documented for their custom build.
