Description: IKE keepalive protocol cancel retry counter value. Default is set to 6. Minimum value is 2, maximum value is 10. This value specifies a number of IKE keepalive update messages missed immediately after IKE keepalive protocol starts running for the protocol to be disabled (likely reason: remote gateway does not support/disabled IKE keepalive protocol.
What is ipsecIfIkeKeepaliveCancel?
This OID sets, from 2 to 10 (default 6), how many missed keepalive messages are tolerated immediately after the IKE keepalive protocol starts before it gives up entirely, typically because the remote gateway doesn't support or has disabled keepalives. An engineer uses this to control how gracefully the local gateway falls back when connecting to a peer that never responds to keepalive probes.
