xbgpPeerRowStatus

Module: XEDIA-BGP-MIB

OID (symbolic): XEDIA-BGP-MIB::xbgpPeerRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.838.3.9.1.10.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-create

Description: This variable displays the status of the entry. Setting it to 'destroy' or 'notInService' removes the entry from the table. Setting it to either 'create', or 'active' will add a row to the table.

What is xbgpPeerRowStatus?

This read-create RowStatus column, part of the vendor's XBgpPeerEntry augmentation to the standard BGP4-MIB peer table, controls creation and deletion of the corresponding peer row: setting it to 'destroy' or 'notInService' removes the entry, while 'create' or 'active' adds it. An admin uses it to provision or remove the Xedia-specific per-peer extensions (like route-reflection-client status) alongside the standard bgpPeerEntry row. Setting xbgpPeerRowStatus to 'active' after configuring a new peer instantiates its xbgpPeerReflectionClient setting for that peer.
