Description: The number of VINES IP broadcast packets sent, both locally generated and routed from other nodes.
What is wfVinesIpBcast?
This read-only Counter32 counts VINES IP broadcast packets sent, combining ones this router originated locally and ones it routed/relayed from other nodes. An admin watches this on a large VINES network to gauge overall broadcast load, since VINES relies on broadcast for name resolution and route advertisement, and excessive broadcast traffic can itself become a scaling problem.
