Description: Configuration for device to send DTMF digits via SIP INFO message or in RTP RFC2833 event message in addition to the audio tone in RTP stream. The default is always an audio tone sent in the RTP stream.
What is wwpVoiceGatewaySIPDtmfEventHandling?
This selects how DTMF digits are signaled over SIP: audio (in-band tone in the RTP stream, the default), info (via SIP INFO messages), or rfc2833 (via RTP RFC 2833 event messages), in addition to always sending an audio tone. Admins choose this based on what DTMF signaling method the far end or SIP trunk provider requires.
