This OID indicates whether the rest of the fields in this wwpOamPeerTable row are valid, returning inactive(2) whenever wwpOamOperStatus is disabled, passiveWait, or activeSendLocal, and active(1) once discovery has progressed further. An admin should check this first before trusting any other peer-information field in this row.
