Description: The OAM functions supported on this Ethernet like interface. OAM consists of separate functional sets beyond the basic discovery process which is always required. These functional groups can be supported independently by any implementation. These values are communicated to the peer via the local configuration field of Information OAMPDUs.
What is wwpOamFunctionsSupported?
This OID is a bitmask reporting which optional 802.3ah OAM feature sets, such as loopbackSupport(1) or eventSupport(2), this local interface implements, beyond the mandatory discovery process. An admin checks this before trying to use a feature like remote loopback, since the command will have no effect if loopbackSupport isn't set here.
