Module: WWP-LEOS-PORT-STATS-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-PORT-STATS-MIB::wwpLeosPortStatsTx512To1023BytePkts

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.3.1.1.2.1.43

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Description: The total number of packets (including bad packets) transmitted that were between 512 and 1023 octets in length inclusive (excluding framing bits but including FCS octets). Not Supported in leos 4.x

What is wwpLeosPortStatsTx512To1023BytePkts?

A 32-bit counter in the per-port Ethernet statistics table (wwpLeosPortStatsTable) that buckets frames transmitted on this port into the 512-to-1023-byte size range (including malformed frames), one bin in the standard Ethernet frame-size distribution histogram. Network engineers compare these bins across ports to spot unusual traffic shapes, e.g. a jump in the 512-to-1023-byte bin often reflects typical web or file-transfer application traffic (not supported on LEOS 4.x firmware).

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.3.1.1.2.1.43
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> WWP-LEOS-PORT-STATS-MIB::wwpLeosPortStatsTx512To1023BytePkts

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.3.1.1.2.1.43.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> WWP-LEOS-PORT-STATS-MIB::wwpLeosPortStatsTx512To1023BytePkts.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> wwpLeosPortStatsTx512To1023BytePkts.1
