Module: WWP-LEOS-PORT-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-PORT-MIB::wwpLeosEtherPortVsIngressFiltering

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.2.1.1.1.1.33

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Description: This item is applicable to this port when the port is added as a per-port member to a virtual switch. If true(1) the device will discard incoming tagged frames. If false(2) the device will forwared incoming tagged frames so long as those customer tagged frames do not match another virtual switch with this port included as a per-port-per-vlan member.

What is wwpLeosEtherPortVsIngressFiltering?

Applies to a port added as a per-port member of a virtual switch: when true, incoming tagged frames are discarded; when false, tagged frames are forwarded unless they match a different virtual switch's per-port-per-VLAN membership. Admins use this to control tagged-frame acceptance specifically in a virtual-switch membership context, separate from wwpLeosEtherPortVlanIngressFiltering.
