Module: WWP-LEOS-PORT-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-PORT-MIB::wwpLeosEtherPortVlanIngressFilterStrict

Description: This item is applicable to this port when the port is added as a to a virtual switch. If true(1) the legacy ingress filter behavior will be enforced at member addition (drop bit will be set to drop untagged traffic). If false, the splat bit will not be changed. Note that external VLAN associations are also maintained when strict is false.

What is wwpLeosEtherPortVlanIngressFilterStrict?

Applicable when this port is added to a virtual switch: when true, the legacy strict ingress-filter behavior is enforced (dropping untagged traffic at member addition); when false, the drop bit is left unchanged and external VLAN associations are preserved. Admins choose the non-strict (false) setting to avoid disrupting existing external VLAN bindings when adding a port to a switch.
